Standalone restaurants, cafés, and bistros generate moderate but consistent daily food waste. The GR-70 was designed exactly for this segment — Up to 70 kg/day, 40 cm wide, single-phase power.
For a restaurant doing 200–400 covers daily, food-waste collection costs €400–1,200 per month and 1–2 staff hours per day for handling. Refrigerated waste storage occupies prime square metres in already-tight kitchens.
Small to mid-size restaurants and cafés fit the GR-70. Larger operations with 200+ daily covers or extended service hours move to GR-150.
The amount depends strongly on the type of kitchen: canteens and high-throughput venues generate far more residues per guest than fine dining. The model is therefore chosen by measured daily mass, not by guest count: up to 70 kg per day is covered by the GR-70, up to 170 kg by the GR-150. The most reliable approach is to weigh the residues over a typical week.
In Croatia, food-waste collection is charged at roughly 200–500 euros per tonne. In more developed EU countries prices are higher, because collection and logistics drive the cost more than the treatment itself. On top of that come staff time for waste handling and space for refrigerated storage.
The GR-70 is 40 cm wide and installs beside the dish-pit. It runs on single-phase 220–230 V from a standard socket and requires a connection to the kitchen drain. No separate room is needed.
Food residues are processed continuously where they arise, so there is no refrigerated storage of residues and no waiting for collection schedules. The space previously taken by bins is freed up.
Every customer gets access to the portal: food residues loaded today, this week and since start-up, enzyme level, next service date and warranty. The monthly report and the data for the ESG report come from the same measurements.
